Hyaluronic Acid is naturally produced by the body and is most prevalent in skin, ligaments, and eyes. It retains water to keep your skin and tissue well lubricated.

Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant, and therefore, its most obvious benefits are moisturising and hydrating all skin types. Other reported benefits include reducing the appearance of wrinkles and speeding up the healing of cuts and wounds. It can relieve dry eye, reduce inflammation, supress joint pains, and maintain the strength of bones.

Hyaluronic Acid is commonly used in hand and body creams and serums. It has anti-wrinkle properties and is commonly found in face and eye creams. It is commonly used as a facial serum or facial mask for dry or acne-prone skin. It is an excellent choice in hair conditioners again due to its moisturising properties.

This is the pure powder, without preservatives. It is water-soluble, so it can not be used in oil-only blends.

It is Soil Association-approved and vegan.

Product Information
Our hyaluronic acid has been made by producing enzymes via bacterial fermentation. This means that it is both eco-friendly and vegan. Its ability to retain moisture is unrivaled and, as such, is brilliant in moisturisers, both increasing the moisture levels in the skin and reducing moisture loss. These properties can result in smoother and softer skin and can decrease wrinkles. It easily dissolves in water and can bind with water to effectively hydrate skin.

Due to its solubility, water needs to be present when formulating - it can't be used in stand-alone oils. 

Perfect for dissolving straight into floral water / distilled water / aloe vera juice, then either using alone or adding the mixture to creams or gels.

Dosage
The recommended dosage for this product is 0.1-1.0%, adding a little at a time. It can take up to 24 hours to dissolve fully.
