Recommended Usage Rate:
Sea buckthorn fruit oil is extremely concentrated, dark orange-red, and rich in carotenoids, tocopherols, and palmitoleic acid (omega-7). If used too high, it can stain the skin or cause irritation.
Facial oils / Serums: 1–5% (blended with lighter carrier oils like jojoba, grapeseed, or argan).
Creams / Lotions: 1–3% for daily use.
Spot treatments / healing balms: Up to 10% for scars, burns, eczema patches.
Massage oils / body blends: 2–7%, depending on sensitivity.
At concentrations above 10%, it can strongly stain skin, clothes, and surfaces due to carotenoids.
